overall personality Isabel can usually be found with her head up in the clouds. She dreams of many things, most of all controlling her own future. She sometimes doesn't look sa though she is paying attention to a conversation, but if questioned about the contents of that lecture (Or whatever it was) she will know exactly what was said.

Isabel doesn't like to be babied, even though for much of her life she was the youngest in the family. She wants to have the same responsibilities and duties that her older sisters do but would never state her thoughts to anyone else. Isabel is the tpe of person that most can easily get along with. She only argues with someone if she has solid fact to back up her arguement. She quickly knows when she can't win and push things her way and will immediately back off. She has strong opinions on many subjects but usually won't share them with others. Of course, there are thsoe few people *CoughAliceMeonkacough* that she can't stand and loves to argue with.

She doesn't like to be doubted and takes offense easily. If someone insults her she will defend herself whether her point of view is right or wrong.

the story Isabel was born the fifth child out of six, into a marriage that was on its last breathes. She was a desperation child, an attempt to rekindle the love that her mother and father once had for eachother, but because she was a girl, that did not happen. She ended up a disappointment, like the rest of her sisters, nothing more than a bargaining chip for marriage, a possession of the Kings that could be thrown away the moment a 'good match' came along. By the time of Isabel's birth, her mother was tired of children. She just wanted her husbands love back, and another daughter would not accomplish that seemingly impossible feat. She was named Isabella Michelle Wykeham by her mother, but through some poor communication the Lady In Waiting announced Isabella's name to be Isabel, a shorter version of the name. Isabel is still oblivious to the fact that she has been known by the wrong name for her entire life.

She lived a life in the shadows, mainly only seeing her aprents when there was some great social event that the entire family was meant to attend. For ten years of her life she was spoiled by the servants and ladies in waiting however, women who were happy to serve the royal family the best they could, even if they were only serving the youngest daughter. She had many parental figures in her life, though not the two that mattered the most, and she learnt how to get her way with every worker of the castle. She became used to being the center of attention, even among her sisters, simply because she was the youngest and 'deserved' the most attention.

When she was ten years old however, there was a new attempt at her mother's regain of status in her father's eyes. The child, Isabel's new younger sibling, was supposed to be a boy. Isabel was promised by the servants that she would still be their special little girl, because everyone was praying for a boy so that a stony cloud would not hang over the castle at the royal couple's disappointment. Reassured that she would still be the special girl, the one with the most attention, because she would still be the youngest girl, Isabel began to look forward to the new addition to the family. She warmed up to the idea of a little brother quickly after being told by other siblings that having little siblings was sometimes great.

She didn't know that her new sibling had arrived in the world until the day after, when servants were scurrying through the halls as quickly as they could, afraid that they might come under the wrath of the king, no doubt disappointed by the news of yet another failure child. Her lady in waiting was no where to be seen, and when she asked she learnt that she was to be assigned a new lady in waiting because the old one was more a nanny, meant for Isabel's new little sister. Isabel was brought to the newborn child, but ran out of the room back to her own, and refused to even look at Bianca Grace for months afterward. Eventually, her older brother Mikel, who she had admired since she was young, came over and talked some sense into the stubborn child. That night he helped her sneak into Bianca's room where she stared at her sleeping sibling for many minutes before Mikel pulled her away. From that moment on, she positively adored her little sister, telling herself that at ten years old, it was time for her to grow up anyway.

Unfortunately, those few months of stubborn silence towards her baby sister had their toll on their relationship. Isabel and Bianca have a great sisterhood now, but perhaps if isabel hadn't hated Binky in the first few years they would be even closer. The 'best sister' relationship for Binky was taken by Gemeni as they grew older, leaving Isabel rather alone on the sister friendship scale. So she spent her time, for about two years, hanging around Mikel and his friend Tristan Cornwallis. At thirteen years old, she had a crush on the future knight, though with time that faded. Eventually Mikel became so annoyed with her constant 'stalking' that he ordered her to leave them alone. The words he used were not so kind, and they succeeded in making Iz leave the pair alone for years afterward.

When Isabel turned fifteen, she met Justice Montague on a chance meeting in the gardens. They were an impossible pair, an eleven year age difference, enemy kingdoms, princess and knight. And yet they immediately seemed to connect, until her Father happened upon them. He chased the Neustrian away, and a few months later Isabel was called to her Father's office to be told that she was to someday be Isabel Cornwallis. She doesn't believe that that was a coincidence to her meeting with Justice.

Now she's regained contact with Justice Montague, and has fallen for him. She wants to spend the rest of her life with him, but with every day she's sure that her marriage to Tristan is coming closer and closer, so she and Jay can never be. Who knows how this will turn out...
