- Prince Kanvesmire finds out that Princess Isabel and Justice have a thing going on. He desperately wants his sister back, but also he wants the Freyrgard Princess. He threatens the Justice with killing Antony and he will tell Ceolman that it was Justice who received the antidote and attended the ball.
- Justice, being the kind of guy he is, accepts the blackmail and organizes for him and Isabel to meet where they usually do, but with the Prince waiting in the trees. They take the Princess back to Neustria, where the Prince takes her to the dungeons and uses the same type of information gathering that Ceolman does, to try and find out where Tatianna is. In frustration, he leaves her down there.
- Meanwhile, Justice has gone to Armand, and confided in his closest friend. The older knight goes to the rebels and asks them to do something in order to distract the Prince while Justice slips into the prison and finds the unconscious Isabel slumped on the cold, wet floors.
