Landon placed his hand gently on her cheek and let his thumb slide across her skin. He knew he couldn’t let himself succumb, he knew it was bad, for both of them.
But whenever she was near him, he just couldn’t control his heart, the beating, the thumping, the feelings that pulsed through his veins in his blood.
It felt so right to be this close.
He leaned forward, and their lips gently caressed each other.
Even with such love inside him, he knew he was going to be forced to tear her apart.

His will was too strong for hypnotism and so far, his past was too clean for blackmail to be any use. It had to be the micro-chip, and it had to be now, before Fox got too far into his head.
Blood leaked through the student’s hair and he clenched his teeth as Cooper watched over his shoulder.
“It’s not taking…” His assistant said.
“I realise that. Get me another.” He pointed with the forceps to the silver medical trolley. Within seconds, the first bloody chip was sitting in a kidney tray.
He pushed the second in, and gently poked the switch. Little ‘legs’ extended from the tiny body of the chip and moments later, it disappeared.
Brownsley stood back and heaved a sigh. “This is going to be harder than I hoped. We’ll have to keep this one under observation…” He muttered, glancing at Cooper and then putting the medical tools on the tray and taking off his bloody gloves.

[/SIZE]Her breath came in short gasps as she ran down the sterile halls of the underground. She’d seen too much, she knew what he was doing to the students, and now, she could hear their footsteps pounding on the floor behind her.
There was more of them, and they were all much bigger and stronger than her. She had little hope of outrunning them, and hardly any hope of struggling once they had hold of her.
Not knowing where she was, could she possibly even fathom outwitting the ‘good’ doctor and his staff?
There was a corner ahead of her, her eye grew wide and she cried out as she skidded into the wall and ran towards the door to her right.
As she tried the handle she heard them laughing. The sound sent chills down her spine, she pushed on the handle and jerked it, but the door was locked.
And the laughter was behind her. She looked over her shoulder and felt a sharp jab in the middle of her back. She gasped in shock and her knees gave way.
“Too easy…” A voice muffled as a figure drew closer, and her world went dark.
