appearance Upon meeting Miss Liza Montague, you’d find that she is not quite the lady you were expecting. Most times she’s dressed in either pheasant’s clothes or men’s clothes. Or some wild mixture of the two. A mischievous grin often indicates that she is up to no trouble. Sleek, brownish-black hair will occasionally look regal in the daylight, but is most often covered in a layer of dirt, grime and whatever she’s been up to in there. There’s almost never a time that Liza isn’t smiling or happy. She stands around five foot nine, making her fairly tall by women’s standards. Her build is pretty slim although she rounds out around the chest and hip area. Blue eyes are often giving that laughing appearance. All in all, a lovely young woman.

Liza is an extremely positive person for someone who has gone through so much. She’s always willing to offer a hand of support or a nice word or two. Liza is the little ray of sunshine to many and is almost always smiling. She can be outrageous at times. For example, she once served a woman client when back in the Kingdom of Urika and has been known to drink several men under the table. Some of her practices with women and men alike are looked down upon, but she doesn’t really care. She can be rowdy and absolutely hates being told what to do. Rules, she often says, are for people who lack adventure. When compared to her brother, she is nothing alike. She hates reading and anything formal. Liza makes her own fun and will happily do so until the day she dies.

the story
Well, Miss Montague was quite the surprise for her mother. Mary had returned to her homeland to speak to her son’s father about paying for his knighthood education after he refused to write back. Four bottles of wine later, well, we all know what happened there. Upon Mary’s return to Neustria, she discovered that she had infact fallen pregnant with another child. In the snow-blown December, Liza was born.
From an early age, Liza had been quite rebellious. Her brother was more inclined to follow the rules while Liza made her own. She spent her childhood playing in the fields with the neighbor’s children, Armand and Jac Zantorian. The four were extremely close. But not as close as Armand and Liza were.

Their friendship grew very close and bloomed into love as those things do. Liza was shocked, however, to find out that Armand and her brother, Justice would be attending the Academy to be Knights. From that day on, Liza had feared for their lives on the line but had never voiced them.
One summer, however, Armand and her brother had returned for the holidays. She and the Zantorian boy stole a horse from the stables and rode out onto the plains. There, their loved proved truer than ever.
When the boys returned to the Academy, things started going downhill. Drought hit. Jac went missing.
Liza was sent to town one day on errands and was set upon a group of men who had mistaken her for someone else. She was kidnapped and taken to the kingdom of Urika and sold off as a slave to a brothel owner. The girl who was supposed to be in Liza’s place was killed by Wykeham’s men. She looked remarkably like Liza, but after her death, she had been beaten so badly the face was almost unrecognizable. So the incorrect body was sent back to the Montague’s while Liza was stuck as a Brothel Worker.
It was in that crowded house that Liza found her true self. The roudy, outspoken “I don’t care” girl was often called upon by men and women alike. She took to the bottle and became a different person. Sex was her job, she couldn’t do anything else.
Her work was cut short when she refused to serve a rough, bald, fat man who had demanded that she be a good little whore and be obedient. The headstrong Liza punched the man in the eye socket, grabbed his sword and possessions and set off. She found work on farms and occasional places, stayed for more than a week but was determined to find her family.
